Philipp started his career in 2003, when he fought at the European SHIDO MMA Grand Prix against Hassan Seddik (France) at "Fists of Fury 2" in Mössingen. Philipp showed a tremendous fight and lost a close decision to the french Pancrace and Grappling Champion in the finals. Since then he competed at MMA-, Thaiboxing-, Shidokan- and Grappling-events in England, France, Italy and Germany and gathered his first international experiences. After one year as a "Rookie" in the GTT Philipp turned to a Pro in June 2005 and will represent the German Top Team on international events around the world.
